Who we are

A quiet promise, kept for twenty-five years.

Amitabha Foundation Elder Home opened on Old Klang Road in 2000 with one simple commitment: that every elder we welcome lives the rest of their life in dignity. That promise has not changed.

Compassion as practice

Care isn't a service we sell; it's a discipline our team renews every shift.

Dignity by design

From private moments to public meals, residents are treated as family members, not patients.

Transparent giving

Every donation is tax-deductible and traceable to the care it funds.

Resident Stories

Lives changed, one at a time.

Every resident arrives with a unique story. Here are the voices of the people at the heart of everything we do.

Giving Back

For years, Uncle Loh quietly showed up, fixing old electronics and donating every single ringgit back to the elder home. He never asked for recognition, never expected anything in return. Now it is our turn to care for him, and we do so with all the love and gratitude he deserves.

Community

Aunty Wong arrived with no family to call her own. What we found was a woman full of life, laughter, and endless stories. She has given this home something priceless: her warmth, her joy, and her spirit.

Resilience

At 55, a stroke changed Uncle Hok's life and left him to face it alone. Every day he gets up, walks, and exercises, half his body weakened but his spirit unbroken. In his quiet resilience, he reminds us that the human spirit, when treated with love, never truly falls.
